FORGIVENESS IN MANY LANGUAGES

Did you know that Forgiving Forward is now available in 6 different languages? It’s true! In addition to English, our book has been translated into Hebrew, Arabic, Spanish, Korean and our most recent translation, Russian. Each version has its own “God story” behind the translation process that would amaze you.  We regularly hear reports of how the Forgiving Forward book is making an impact in people’s lives who would never be helped through the English edition. This story from Korea will bless you. (Permission Granted.)

My parents have been Buddhists all their lives. I witnessed God's rapid work when my mom came to my house with my dad after her colon cancer surgery. The very next day, she accepted Jesus as her Savior after watching a video clip of a young lady who had undergone chemotherapy over 80 times and was evangelizing other cancer patients. It was amazing! I was overjoyed by His sincere answer to my prayers.

Soon after her salvation, she had to be rushed to the hospital because her caregiver had not cared for her properly. It was Christmas morning when I was allowed to see her in the ICU.
I reminded her it was Christmas and suggested she give a gift to Jesus by forgiving the negligent caregiver. She agreed, and I prayed to the Lord, following the Forgiving Forward protocols on her behalf due to her physical weakness. Since then, she didn't utter a word of blame toward anyone but thanked everyone for their kindness.

During her time of weakness, her brother visited her. They hadn’t seen each other for years due to past conflicts. Although she couldn’t say a word, she cried at first and later gave him a big smile when he left. It was clear that she was at peace.

While my mom had been in hospice care for about two months, my dad was touched by the love from my church and
accepted Jesus as his Savior. I gave the Korean version of Forgiving Forward to my dad and brothers. My dad was so deeply moved after reading the stories in it that he visited a lady and her daughter (who lived across from him) to apologize for the quarrel he had with them. They were reconciled, and, earlier this year, mourned his passing, welcoming me like family whenever I contact them.

Isn’t forgiveness incredible?! What a blessing it is for us to hear of how God is working around the world to prepare His bride for eternity. If you know of anyone who would benefit from the translations we have available on our website, please help us spread the word. Most of all, please pray that God will use these translations (and provide for us to create more translations) to help the Body of Christ worldwide experience the freedom of the Gospel through the power of forgiveness.
